Will Josh Allen finally be named NFL MVP?
You already shnow the NFL Honors awards show is upon us, and this evening’s ceremony will feature several Buffalo Bills players. From Josh Allen, Damar Hamlin, and Dion Dawkins, to offensive coordinator Joe Brady and superfans Richard “Poo” Peterson & Derrick “Norm” Norman — One Bills Drive will be well-represented in New Orleans.
Tonight’s event airs at 9 p.m. EST on FOX and NFL Network.
Up for awards this evening:
- Quarterback Josh Allen is up for three awards: He’s a finalist (and the betting favorite) for The Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player; also FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Year; and the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award
- Safety Damar Hamlin is a finalist for The Associated Press Comeback Player of the Year (his second-consecutive nomination)
- Left Tackle Dion Dawkins is nominated for consideration in the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award (his third-consecutive nomination)
- Offensive coordinator Joe Brady is a finalist for The Associated Press Assistant Coach of the Year
- “The Chefs” Richard “Poo” Peterson & Derrick “Norm” Norman are finalists for 2024 NFL Ultimate Fans of the Year
Here’s your open thread for tonight’s festivities. Of course there’s more to talk about this evening than just the Bills, so allow this space to serve as your NFL Honors catch-all.
Oh, and if you were curious… yes, Dion Dawkins is fully clothed. Perhaps he felt there wasn’t any way he could compete with what Kanye West’s wife, Biana Censori did early this week at the Grammy’s. (DO NOT google her name if you’re on a work computer.)
