BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Former Cincinnati running back Corey Kiner is like a human pinball. He runs with aggression and it’s not very often he get taken down on first contact. Kiner maintains good balance on contact.
“You gotta have that mindset each and every day that there’s a brick wall right there that’s trying to stop me, and I gotta run through it,” said Kiner.
Kiner had two productive seasons at Cincy becoming just the fifth player in program history to rack up consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.
“I’m an all around team player,” said Kiner. “I’m consistent, very consistent. Each day, bad day, good day, I’m gonna be the same person. Gonna give it my all. Gonna do things right off the field and gonna be a team player.”
Kiner realizes to have success at the next level that he’ll be asked to do it all and he’s ready for the challenge.
“We gotta be blockers, like O-linemen,” said Kiner. “We gotta be pass catchers, like receivers. We gotta run the football, and running the football isn’t easy.”
Corey Kiner is projected to be a day 3 draft pick.
