BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Bills re-signed linebacker Nick Morrow on Tuesday while placing Baylon Spector on injured reserve.
Morrow was on Buffalo’s roster for the first 13 weeks of the season before being released on Dec. 7. The seventh-year veteran has played mostly on special teams with 44 defensive snaps this season after signing a one-year contract in free agency.
The Bills needed a linebacker after Spector reinjured his calf muscle in Sunday’s win against the New England Patriots, and with starter Matt Milano missing the game with a groin injury.
Milano was one of five players listed as limited on Buffalo’s estimated injury report Wednesday. The others were starting safeties Damar Hamlin (ribs) and Taylor Rapp (neck), reserve defensive back Cam Lewis (shoulder), and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (rib). Starting cornerback Rasul Douglas was listed a full participant after missing the past two games with a knee injury.
The Bills return to practice Thursday after having Christmas off.
