There were two huge extensions signed in the NFL over the past week. As that scenario often goes, those involved the quarterback position.
Close by in the AFC East, the Miami Dolphins and Tua Tagovailoa agreed to a four-year, $212.4 million extension.
Shortly after, the Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love came together for a four-year, $220M agreement.
Onto the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen. The Bills and their franchise QB agreed to an extension in August 2021. Considering the amount of time that has passed since then, Buffalo’s front office locking up Allen early has made the deal look smarter and smarter. It has aged like a fine wine.
Most would agree (certainly in western New York, at least), that Allen is much better than Tagovailoa, Love, and many other quarterbacks who currently make more than him each year. What does that full list look like?
