ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Starting middle linebacker Terrel Bernard won’t play for the Buffalo Bills in Sunday’s road game against the Seattle Seahawks, coach Sean McDermott said Friday.
Bernard was excused from practicing this week for personal reasons while being listed on the injury report with ankle and pectoral muscle ailments. McDermott said on Wednesday that Bernard was day to day with an ankle injury sustained in last week’s win against the Tennessee Titans. He missed two games with a pectoral muscle strain earlier this season.
Rookie defensive tackle DeWayne Carter (wrist) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (pectoral) also have been ruled out for the Week 8 game in Seattle.
