Will the Bills lay waste to their AFC East foes early this season?

The Buffalo Bills are 6-2 and in the driver’s seat looking to claim their fifth-straight AFC East division title thanks to a 3.5-game lead on their nearest competition, the Miami Dolphins. Eight weeks ago, almost no one would have signed up for predicting the Bills’ current situation.
Many people saw the Bills as third-best in the division, thanks to a lot of preseason hype around the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins. As is often the case, the reality proved to be quite different. The Jets have lost five games in a row and sit in last place in the division at 2-6. Those once-promising Super Bowl boasts have turned to cries for a white flag on the season. No matter how the organization chooses to acquiesce to their quarterback’s demands, it doesn’t seem like any move is primed to repair whatever issue is bothering Aaron Rodgers on a day-to-day basis. The Dolphins are 2-5 and could still make some noise if quarterback Tua Tagovailoa can stay healthy.
Should the Bills defeat the Dolphins at home this coming weekend, their path to a fifth consecutive crown would amplify. All Buffalo needs to keep doing is winning, and they could lock up the division by Week 11, thanks to both head-to-head wins, and common opponent scenarios. Despite playing the Jets once and the also 2-6 Patriots twice in the final three weeks of the regular season, right now the Bills hold all the right cards over their AFC East competition.
In a week-to-week league, the Bills need to focus on the task at hand and aim for a sweep of the Dolphins on Sunday. After that, it’s facing a very tough Indianapolis Colts team before hosting the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11.
So this week, we want to know how confident you are in the direction of the Buffalo Bills. Additionally and below, we have a classic poll with immediate results for you to vote on…
