The Buffalo Bills are heading to the AFC Divisional Playoff Round after a big win over the Pittsburgh Steelers yesterday. But as they prepare to take on the Kansas City Chiefs, one of their most important players is dealing with a concussion.
According to ProFootballTalk, Bills cornerback Taron Johnson is currently in the NFL concussion protocol. Johnson had two tackles and a forced fumble in Monday’s Wild Card game against the Steelers and finished the regular season with 98 tackles, eight passes defended, one sack, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.
For his efforts, Johnson earned Second-Team All-Pro honors for the first time in his career.
If Johnson isn’t able to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday that would be a pretty big blow to their defense.

While the Bills have beaten the Chiefs in three straight regular season meetings, they’ve lost two straight postseason meetings against them as well.
Ironically, the Bills have also performed better against the Chiefs in Kansas City than in their own building. They haven’t beaten the Chiefs at home in any game since 2012, per Pro-Football-Reference.
Will the Bills have the services of Taron Johnson this Sunday?
