Micah Hyde only wants to play for the Buffalo Bills in 2024.
Hyde recently revealed that he wants to play for the Bills this year or else he’ll retire. He’s currently an unrestricted free agent after hitting the market in March.
He also told the Bills that he’s taking everything day by day.
“Just got done talking to them and we’re all on the same page,” Hyde said, (first transcribed by ProFootballTalk). “I am 33 years old, man. I want to have a healthy life and my family’s the most important thing to me. At the same time, I do want to win a Super Bowl — that’d be pretty damn awesome. So, we’ll see. We’ll take it day by day.”
Hyde has spent the last seven seasons with the Bills and finished the 2023 season with 54 total tackles, seven passes defended, and two interceptions. He’s been a key cog in their secondary for quite a while but they may not have him for next season since he’s still a FA.
Before he made his way to the Bills, he spent the first four seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers.
He’s appeared in 158 games, compiling 644 total tackles, five sacks, 24 interceptions, and 66 passes defended.
