Did Josh Allen, Christian Benford, others make the cut?
Zero. Not a single Buffalo Bills player was voted to The Associated Press 2024 NFL First-Team All-Pro roster. It’s an interesting development, to say the least — especially concerning quarterback Josh Allen.
Following a front-running NFL MVP campaign by Josh Allen and the men in front of him along the offensive line, their work wasn’t enough to ultimate earn a single inclusion on the latest first-team All-Pro list. Among a total of 50 votes, Allen received just 18 first-team nods.
Cornerback Christian Benford is another notable omission, being passed over for Patrick Surtain II and Derek Stingley. While true that Buffalo’s defense failed to put together an elite season all told, no team was better at taking the ball away.
Buffalo’s Super Wild Card Weekend opponent, the Denver Broncos, saw five players make this season’s first-team All-Pro list.

The Bills had an incredible season that defied expectations of almost every single person who formed a public opinion on their chances in the 2024 season. Josh Allen proved that the team runs through him and that with QB17 at the controls, the playoffs and AFC East dominance are always part of Buffalo’s equation.

Jackson’s season was tremendous, and his Baltimore Ravens saw nine players selected to the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl. Concerning that MVP race, take note that the people tasked with voting for the AP lists (those tied to the Associated Press), are the same folks who decide each season’s NFL MVP. That likely means that Lamar Jackson’s chances have improved following’s Friday’s news.
