The Ravens first-ever Pro Bowl receiver is dealing with a knee injury that kept him sidelined last weekend.
The Baltimore Ravens may be without their top pass catcher when they face the Buffalo Bills in Sunday’s Divisional Round playoff game. Zay Flowers injured his knee in Week 18 as the Ravens beat the Cleveland Browns, and he has been unable to participate in football activities since that time.

Flowers, who had 74 catches for 1,059 yards and nine touchdowns during the regular season — his second in the NFL, was a non-participant in Wednesday’s practice, but Ravens’ head coach John Harbaugh said earlier in the week, that practice participation wouldn’t be what determined the second-year wide receiver’s game availability.

Flowers didn’t play in Baltimore’s 28-14 Super Wild Card Weekend win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Instead, Baltimore relied heavily on their rushing game. The Ravens chose to run the ball 50 times last Saturday as compared to the 21 pass attempts quarterback Lamar Jackson threw. Jackson completed 16 of his 21 attempts — most of them to tight ends Isaiah Likely and Mark Andrews, who combined for 100 of Jackson’s 175 passing yards.
The last time the Bills and Ravens collided, back in Week 4, Flowers was only targeted twice making one reception for just 10 yards. So, while his presence would be an asset for Baltimore, whether or not his absence is a liability is yet to be determined.
Another Ravens injury for Bills’ fans to keep tabs on is that of return man Deonte Harty. The former Buffalo Bills receiver only played in five games this season before landing on Injured Reserve with a knee injury of his own.
Harty was designated to return and was a full participant in two out of three practices last week and entered the weekend with a questionable game-day designation. The Ravens chose not to activate the six-year veteran who spent the first four years of his career with the New Orleans Saints and then was in Buffalo for the 2023 season.
Reports would indicate that Harty was practicing on Wednesday, but before he can put on a uniform Sunday, Baltimore would have to add him back to their active roster.
