BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — If Buffalo’s divisional round game against the Baltimore Ravens was the “game of the season,” is this … the game of the century?
The playoff rematch everyone has been waiting for will take place when the Bills head to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in the AFC championship game. It will be Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes at Arrowhead Stadium with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.
The game’s on 4! The game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and will air on WIVB.
There are both positive and negative aspects of this matchup for the Bills. The good? The Bills have won the last three regular-season matchups between the two teams, which includes a 30-21 win over the Chiefs earlier this season. The Bills also beat the Chiefs in in 2023 (20-17) and 2022 (24-20).
Bills fans are all too familiar with Kansas City’s playoff wins in recent years. The Chiefs have handed the Bills devastating defeats in the playoffs in three of the last four seasons. That includes a 27-24 loss in Buffalo last season and, of course, the unforgettable “13 seconds” loss in January, 2022.
