After lots of teasing (and a credible leak a few days ago), the cover athlete for Madden NFL 24 has been revealed. And it’s exactly who we expected it to be.
On Wednesday, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was revealed as the newest Madden NFL cover athlete. Making the announcement was Allen himself.
“A childhood dream come true,” Allen wrote, adding a praying hands emoji.
The standard edition cover features Allen with his face concealed by shadows holding his collar and looking forward. The deluxe edition shows Allen having jumped up into the crowd to celebrate with fans.
Bills fans and even non-Bills fans have taken to Twitter to call the move deserved:
A childhood dream come true 🙏

“Yeah the 2nd best QB on the Planet is on the cover of Madden this year. When you are a superstar that has the most TD’s in the NFL since 2020 and crazy playoff stats to back it up it’s justified. If you have a problem with it oh well. See us on the field in September #BillsMafia,” one user wrote.
“Just a kid from Firebaugh, CA with a dream. Josh Allen is officially the cover of Madden 24. Bet on yourself. #BillsMafia,” wrote another.
“Congratulations Josh Allen, this is quite an accomplishment. Keep doing what you do and bring a Super Bowl home to Buffalo!!” a third Bills fan tweeted.
It’s a big moment for Josh Allen. Now he just needs one more accomplishment to truly step into the pantheon of all-time greats.
