Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass has been a diligent proponent of cat adoption through his support of the Ten Lives Club charity.
On Wednesday, the Bills announced some incredible news. Thanks to bringing in $400,000 in donations, the “Tyler Bass Adoption Center” will become a reality.
The adoption center is a planned building on the Ten Lives Club property in Blasdell, N.Y.
“This new shelter will stand for years and years and be able to help the cats of Western New York and all the cats we take in from around the USA,” said Marie Edwards, the executive director and founder of Ten Lives Club.
“Truly grateful and just feel honored. I have two cats of my own and I love them to death. It’s hard to put words to it, to be honest with you,” Bass said in a video released by the team.
The ultimate example of Bills Mafia. ❤️💙

A large influx of donations came in after Bass missed a crucial game-tying field goal in the Bills’ 27-24 playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in January.
Bass had to delete his social media thanks to some of the abuse he received after the game. When other members of Bills Mafia and some Chiefs fans found out, they decided to donate money to Bass’ preferred charity in support of the embattled kicker.
Four months later, it’s amazing to see the type of impact the money had.
