Green Bay welcomes New Orleans to frigid Lambeau Field for the holidays
The Green Bay Packers welcome the New Orleans Saints to Lambeau Field, wrapping up Week 15 of NFL action. At times this season, the 10-4 Packers have looked like one of the best teams in the NFL — yet they’re in third place in the ultra-competitive AFC North.
The 5-9 Saints jumped out to a phenomenal start, putting up 44-plus points in two wins to begin the regular season. It’s been mostly downhill in New Orleans since, as evidenced by their 3-9 record since — which included moving on from prior head coach Dennis Allen at the beginning of November.
So it is that tonight’s edition of ESPN Monday Night Football is less appealing than many hoped for. Much the same was said about last night’s Sunday Night Football game on NBC — and look how that one turned out.
Entering play, the Packers are massive 14.5-point favorites (-14.5) against the Saints, with an O/U set at 43.5.
Despite my miss from Buccaneers-Cowboys last night, I feel confident in Green Bay coming out with a win. They’re hungry to make the postseason and the offense can keep pace with anyone when firing on all cylinders.
Green Bay Packers 33, New Orleans Saints 10
Here’s your open thread for tonight’s Monday Night Football game. As always, be kind to one another — and in all things… Go Bills!
