Nice guy Peyton.
Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning made an appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show” and talked about the Bills losing 32-29 to the Chiefs in the AFC championship game.
After the defeat, a narrative has come up again: Can the Bills and quarterback Josh Allen ever beat the Chiefs in the postseason?
Manning says yes, and explained that he reached out to Allen after the game because of that.
Specifically, Manning said he did so because he can relate. He had his problems with the Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady’s side back in his playing days… and he eventually got over the hump.
Manning discussing Allen and the Bills can be found in the clip below:
“Would you rather be 7-10 or would you rather have your heart ripped out in the AFC Championship..
I’d rather have my heart ripped out..
I think the time will come for Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson” ~ Peyton Manning #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/zUw7cZBPja
