Former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord got an up-close-and-personal look at his new Syracuse Orange team in the Boca Raton Bowl last night and it’s safe to say the impression wasn’t that positive.
McCord couldn’t play in the bowl game for his new team, but he was on the sidelines as the Orange got eviscerated by USF in a 45-0 blowout. At one point during the game, ESPN’s cameras captured McCord’s reaction on camera.
The Third-Team All-Big Ten selection appeared to be staring blankly at the football field as his team was down 38-0 in the middle of the third quarter.
While some fans believe that it didn’t mean anything, others decided to have a little extra fun at McCord’s expense:

“5 minutes later ……. BREAKING NEWS: Kyle Mccord is back in the transfer portal,” one user wrote.
“Buckeye fans wish Kyle well and hope he succeeds. However, this the look of “oh shit” I don’t have six 5 star receivers to throw too at this basketball school! I hope for his sake he got paid well,” wrote another.
“Don’t throw a pick against Michigan and you’re still a buckeye. It’s a shame but oh well, on to the next one just like he did to us,” a third said.
Kyle McCord has a lot of hard work ahead of him.
