Both will feature ACC Opponents
Syracuse Orange fans can circle two weekends on their calendar during the 2025 football season.
Family Weekend will be held September 26-28, with SU’s first ACC home game against Duke taking place that Saturday.
Soon afterwards, Orange Central (Homecoming) includes the first Syracuse home game in October since 2022, when Pitt comes to the Dome on the 18th.
The scheduling is a slight change from the past two years, where one of the events was held the first weekend of November… but with a Halloween matchup against Bill Belichick and North Carolina on tap, it’s probably a good idea to leave that weekend to the students and locals this time. Also, having both events before the snow sets in should entice more people from warmer climates to make the trek into town.
Last season, Family Weekend was also held the final weekend of September and featured a sellout crowd for SU’s victory over Holy Cross. Alumni had an enjoyable return to the Dome as well on November 2nd, when the Orange took down Virginia Tech in overtime.
The full 2025 schedule features opening the year in Atlanta against Tenessee, home games against UConn, Colgate, Duke, Pitt, UNC, and Boston College, and road trips to Clemson, SMU, Georgia Tech, Miami, and Notre Dame.
