First Orange player to finish that high since 2001
Syracuse Orange quarterback Kyle McCord finished 10th in the 2024 Heisman Trophy voting.
McCord led the nation in passing with his 4,326 yards and set Syracuse school records for passing yards, completions (367) and passing touchdowns (29). He is the first Orange player to finish in the top 10 since Dwight Freeney’s 9th-place finish in 2001 (although we all know that Riley Dixon should have won in 2014).
The four finalists are Ashton Jeanty, Travis Hunter, Dillon Gabriel and Cam Ward. We’ll find out who wins the Heisman tonight. Here are the players who finished 5th through 10th
The fifth through 10th spots in the 2024 Heisman balloting were released tonight on The Top 10 Heisman Trophy Finalists Show Presented by @NissanUSA that aired live on @espn. We are now a day away from crowning the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner. #HeismanTrophy #MoreThanATrophy pic.twitter.com/lj4BLhX2Mo
