Garrett Williams is having a breakout season
It’s getting towards the end of the NFL season for the former Syracuse Orange players-turned-pro, so let’s check in on them.
Matthew Bergeron (Atlanta Falcons) – The Falcons playoff hopes are fading, but so far this year, Bergeron has an overall grade of 66.7 per PFF. This ranks 29th among guards.
Andre Cisco (Jacksonville Jaguars) – Cisco has had a tougher season as PFF ranks him 64th among safeties this season.
Tommy DeVito (New York Giants) – DeVito got a start against Tampa Bay and went 21-31 for 189 yards. He also ran 7 times for 32 yards but after taking four sacks DeVito has been unable to get back on the field.
Riley Dixon (Denver Broncos) – Dixon is averaging 47.1 yards per kick which ranks 20th in the NFL, but when it comes to landing kicks inside the 20, Riley is tied for 4th.
Zaire Franklin (Indianapolis Colts) – Zaire continues to lead the NFL in tackles as his 135 have him 3 in front of Budda Baker.
Trishton Jackson (Minnesota Vikings) – Has not seen game action since Week 3 and is currently listed on the practice squad by Minnesota.
Ifeatu Melifonwu (Detroit Lions) – Was placed on injured reserve and we’ll see if Iffy is able to get back on the field for the Lions’ playoff games this year.
Sean Tucker (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – Tucker finally got a little run on Sunday when he had 3 carries for 47 yards against the Raiders. Tucker is averaging 7.2 yards per carry on the season with 2 rushing touchdowns and 1 receiving score.
Garrett Williams (Arizona Cardinals) – Williams continues to shine for Arizona. PFF ranks him 12th among corners and he’s got a chance at landing a Pro Bowl nod
