This looks like a great get for Fran
The Syracuse Orange football team landed a big 2026 commitment on Sunday.
3-star defensive end, Kamron Wilson out of Miami chose the Orange over 30+ schools including Florida State, Ole Miss and Nebraska. The 6’5” Wilson had 17 sacks as a sophomore and he told On3 that he’s bought into Fran Brown’s program.
“The trust and relationship I had with the coaches,” Wilson said. “Great guys. I believe they could make me become a better man on and off the field and send me to the NFL so I’m so excited to play with my guy Coach Nick & Coach E. Fran Brown is my guy. He means all business so man I’m ready to get up there and work for a true freshman.”

Here’s a look at Wilson, who is a top 50 edge in his class according to the 247 composite in action in the playoffs last year. He’s the 13th commit for the 2026 Syracuse class which is ranked 12th by 247 and 31st by On3.
