Another staff position appears to be opening
The Syracuse Orange football team won’t begin spring practice for a while, but it appears the Orange wide receivers will have a new position coach.
Matt Zemitz of 247Sports reported Saturday that Ross Douglas was expected to be hired by the Oregon Ducks as their new wide receivers coach.

Douglas, who came to Syracuse from the New England Patriots, was also listed as the passing game coordinator. His role on the staff helped the Orange offense to a record-breaking passing season and saw several receivers put up career bests.
A report from Chris Carlson of Syracuse.com indicates that last year’s Oregon WR coach, Junior Adams, earned 700,000 in the position. Adams left Oregon for a job with the Dallas Cowboys leaving the opening that reports indicate will be filled by Douglas.
