White out from here in
While the Syracuse Orange prepare for the biggest test of the 24-25 season tomorrow night when the #2 Duke Blue Devils are in town, there are a lot of questions.
Can Syracuse slow down Cooper Flagg?
How can the Orange match up with Kon Kneuppel and Tyrese Proctor?
Will the boos from Otto’s Army motivate Maliq Brown in his return to the Dome?
We might have to wait on all those answers, but we can tell you the answer to “What should the Syracuse coaching staff wear?” That answer is clear from the statistics.
Numbers don’t lie and so the best chance for Syracuse is to come back with the whites for this one. 6-0 at home is worth seeing if the momentum can continue with the #2 team in town. Personally the TNIAAM fashion analytics staff would prefer to match the script on the uniforms, but as long as the color is correct, we won’t complain.
The equipment staff needs to lock the blue away for the rest of the season and stick with white, orange, and maybe borrow some black D.A.R.T. gear from Fran Brown if necessary.
While you can make an argument about the effectiveness of trap or drop coverage in the high pick-and-roll, no one can dispute the effectiveness of 1⁄4 zip selection. In this case we need Red to push for White.
