Tuesday night clash in the Steel City
The Syracuse Orange (11-15, 5-10) are on the road tonight to face the Pittsburgh Panthers (15-10. 6-8). Pitt won the first meeting 77-73 in the Dome and are looking to sweep the regular season series.
Both teams are struggling in their last 10 games with identical 3-7 records over that span. In the first meeting, Pitt had the more efficient offense, while offensive rebounding kept the Orange in the game. Eddie Lampkin had 23 boards for Syracuse in the game and it will be interesting to see how the Panthers try to adjust to his size on the interior.
No Elijah Moore for tonight’s game so we’ll get a different starting line-up for the Orange.
