Let’s hit the highlights
The Syracuse Orange athletics season is in full swing so we are back with these weekly recaps as we look to broaden our coverage of the Olympic sports.
Ice Hockey (10-20, 8-8)
Syracuse split their weekend series with Lindenwood winning 5-2 and 5-0 as they get back to .500 in conference play. Allie Kelley got her third shutout of the season and continues to add to her NCAA saves record.

Syracuse travels to play two games at Robert Morris next weekend.
Tennis (4-0, 0-0)
The tennis team took care of Drexel 6-1 to stay undefeated this spring. Syracuse swept the doubles matches and took five of six singles contests.

Syracuse heads to Boston to face BU and BC next weekend.
Track and Field
The Orange split between Clemson and Boston over the weekend. At Clemson, Trei Thorogood took 5th in the 60m dash and 7th in the 200m. Elijah Millard was 10th in the 400m while Peyton Rollins and Taleea Buxton were 16th and 18th in the women’s 60m hurdles.
The distance runners in Boston took advantage of the BU track to put up some fast times. Benne Anderson went sub-4 in the mile again, clocking a 3:56.85 which is just a second off the Syracuse indoor record. Savannah Roark (9:13) and Emma Eastman (9:15) placed in the top ten of collegiate runners in the 3000m.
Syracuse heads back to Boston to compete at Harvard next weekend.
