UMass’ last graduating class of athletes from the independent era worked out in front of pro scouts earlier in the draft period.
UMass held their Pro Day workouts in late March, with 14 former Minutemen taking to the turf to show off for assembled scouts and media ahead of the NFL Draft in late April.
Scouts from seven NFL teams and one CFL team were confirmed to be in attendance, per Minuteman Command’s Shaan Baid. Of note, cornerback Tyler Rudolph did participate in workouts and met with scouts in Amherst, but does not qualify for a RAS card and therefore does not appear. CJ Kolodziey and Frank Ladson, similarly to Rudolph, also did not qualify for RAS cards, but did participate.
For our reports, we’ve pulled raw numbers from Draft Scout and RAS.football to assemble the RAS cards, which are used with express written permission of RAS’ creator Kent Lee Platte.

WR Jakobie Keeney-James

Elevator Pitch:
Keeney-James was very often the best player on the Minutemen offense whenever he was on the field thanks to his electric speed and agility from multiple positions. His ascent was a bit of a surprise, given his lack of production over five years at FCS Eastern Washington, where he had 61 catches for 825 yards and four touchdowns in 37 games. However, the results on-field spoke for themselves, leading UMass in catches (50), yards (836) and receiving touchdowns (six.) His 836 yards were nearly double of the next-best receiver (334), and he also has special teams experience, which will be attractive at the next level.
